About Us

I grew up in southern California started collecting seeds in the mid 80’s. In the late 80’s we placed our 1^st order of seeds from Amsterdam and picked up  something called Kush x Kush this was long before the OG’s.  The Kush x Kush was something legends are made from.  It dropped many light smokers and really was powerhouse.  Sadly, in 89 things outside my control brought it all to an end. Lots all my seeds and mothers and many years of works.

 

In the mid 90’s I made my way online and found OG.com and its sister site CW.org and Oldsog persona was born/created. this is when I really got into the plant and got interested in breeding and genetics.  I spent most of my time breeding things that I like and not being concerned with the strains of the day and bullshit hyped strains.   In my years, and with the friends I’ve made online, I’ve grown or smoked just a huge number of different strains.  Most got tossed aside for having few or little redeeming qualities, but an exceptionally good number have stood the tests of time and truly are spectacular plants. One in particular is the Super Silver Haze cut I have had since 2000/2001 that still has a place in my garden.  Affectionately referred to as Oldsogs Super Silver Haze.
